Beneficiary Announcement of the 2014 Run Proceeds

We are pleased to announce the beneficiaries of the proceeds from the 5th Annual Ferguson Twilight Run on May 17, 2014. This year, the Live Well Events board and the Ferguson Twilight Run Committee decided to divide the percentage among four non-profits. This is a new endeavor with the belief being that the run would be able to benefit more programs and in turn each of the organizations would help promote the run. This year’s recipients include:

• Emerson Family YMCA – 56% benefiting their camp scholarship/subsidies for their summer camp.
• Girls on the Run St. Louis – 21% benefiting the Bermuda Elementary Scholarship Fund.
• Ferguson Youth Initiative – 15% benefiting their Ferguson Earn-a-Bike Program along with the addition of the Youth Group Rides.
• Marygrove – 8% benefiting their Recreation Therapy Program.

We applaud each of these organizations for the work they are doing to deliver healthy programs in North County.
