A Cleaner, Greener Event

The Ferguson Twilight Run and St. Louis Earth Day work together to recycle and compost as much waste as possible from the race to keep the water cups, banana peels, and cardboard boxes that the finisher medals were shipped in out of the landfill. Last year, 72% of our total waste (by weight) was recycled or composted. Help us divert even more of our waste from the landfill this year by putting your waste in the appropriate recycling or composting container. Not sure if your waste can be recycled or composted? St. Louis Earth Day staff will be on hand at the finish line to guide you to the correct waste container.
